Just a quick post! Made these last week, my client wanted a Angry Birds themed cake so here’s my version :p. The cake is Chocolate Butter Cake while the frosting is made of Chocolate Frosting. It’s best if you use Italian meringue buttercream as it holds it shape better than the quickie buttercream, french, german or swiss.
The fondant was giving me a hard time when I was covering the cake, since the weather was pretty humid, the fondant either cracks easily or stretches when handled. But I successfully draped the cake on the 3rd try.
